Our goal is to establish a lifelong, collaborative working arrangement with you, your CPA, and your estate planning attorney so that we, as a team, are all committed to one singular focus - you.
The three-step engagement process described below is completely complimentary. You don’t pay a single cent until you decide you want to become a client!

Step 1: The Discovery Call
Via the link below, you can proactively schedule a 30-minute discovery call with Katie Brennan Kane, Beacon’s VP of Operations & Client Services. She will answer any questions you may have about who we are, our investing philosophy and the services we provide for our clients. Quite frankly, she will do a lot of listening during this call as this is the first step in the “getting to know each other” process. We encourage you to share as much about your current financial situation as you’re comfortable with and share what you’re looking to get out of a working relationship with a financial advisor so that we can tell you immediately if we’re the right fit. If we both agree to move to the next step, Katie will send you our First Steps Packet for your review & completion.
Step 2: First Steps Packet Meeting
Once you complete & return our First Steps Packet, we’ll schedule your first meeting with an Advisor on our team – based on the Discovery Call, Katie will match you with the Advisor best suited for your needs. An advisor will have reviewed all the information included in the packet before this meeting and will have prepared a number of questions to get to know the person behind the data. Concurrently, it will be your chance to get to know the advisor as well. We understand choosing to work with a financial planning firm is a big decision so it’s important that there is synergy amongst all parties!
Step 3: Proposal Meeting
During this meeting, we’ll show you exactly what your customized financial plan and investment portfolio will look like should you decide to work with Beacon Financial Planning. We will also provide initial feedback on your current investment portfolio as well as address questions about your immediate goals, your future goals and any concerns you may have about cash flow in retirement - essentially, we’ll show you how we turn complex concepts into easy to understand, actionable ideas. As you will see by this step in the process, we are fanatical about details, fully transparent about who we are, our services and how we get compensated - you can find our firm minimum as well as our fee schedule here. After this meeting, if you choose to become a client, we will start the onboarding process.

Naturally, because life evolves, so does your financial plan. Moving forward, we’ll meet semi-annually to evaluate your plan, make adjustments as needed and review your investment portfolio.
